Bike Rental Policy

Motorcycles may only be used in Sikkim, Darjeeling, the Dooars, Gangtok, and Bhutan, as permitted by Rent2Rider.

A refundable security deposit of ₹1000 to ₹2000, depending on the bike model, is required upon bike collection.

You must present one of the following original documents for verification: PAN Card, Election Card, Aadhar Card, Passport, or any ID card issued by Central or State Government.

Both rider and pillion must wear helmets and possess a valid driving license issued by the Government of India during the rental period.

Each rider must present a valid driving license for inspection upon picking up the bike.

The pickup and drop-off point is our office. Third-party pickup locations can be arranged if informed in advance.

Riding under the influence of alcohol or prohibited drugs is strictly prohibited.

The renter is solely responsible for any physical damage, theft, or loss to the bike during the rental period.

Failure to return the bike by the agreed date and time incurs a penalty of ₹500 per additional day. Changes to the return schedule must be communicated 24 hours in advance, with the additional day’s fee paid.

Avoid carrying large luggage during the tour to ensure safe riding.

Each bike may carry a maximum of two passengers, including the rider.

No damages, whether minor or major, are tolerated. The renter is responsible for paying for any damages incurred.

Before starting your journey, inspect and familiarize yourself with the vehicle. Clarify any doubts and, if possible, record a video of the vehicle’s condition before departure.

Rental charges are calculated on a daily basis, regardless of pickup time. If unable to return the bike on the agreed date due to unforeseen circumstances, no extra day charge will apply, but you may extend the rental duration. Rental hours are between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, with adjustments possible for difficulties.

If returning the bike earlier than the specified date for personal reasons, inform us in advance. Refunds may be provided at our discretion.
